 Dear Brother’sOur biannual State convention is June 8th and 9th in Jersey City. Every division is expected to attend and vote. We need delegates to vote on Saturday, June 9th. Our division is entitled to 15 votes and that does not include the State board officers, and county officers. Please volunteer to attend the Saturday voting session in Jersey City. More info on calendar below.
The Lincroft fire dept aka Rob Hughes will be collecting the following for are troops on Wednesday 5/16 meeting, please read this letter from one of the wife’s Saturday, June 16th is the St. Ann School Stickball tournament. Cost is $25 adults and $10 children. Funds to benefit the St. Ann School Scholarship Fund. Please see Jim Shaw or Jim Bonney at the 5/16 meeting. Teams and volunteers are needed. "Our troops have an immediate need for shaving brushes that they use for dusting their weapons with, bungee cords (black, brown, tan - no red, yellow, orange, blue or bright green), narrow long paint brushes (like you would use to paint the trim around your door at home) for dusting and cleaning their larger weapons. The brushes should be soft bristles so as not to scratch, dent or otherwise ding their valuable equipment. Just a note, my husband told me that my mom sent him disposable toothbrushes, and while a great idea, they were too soft to do any real weapons cleaning, so if you want to send toothbrushes that they can use for cleaning, please send the harder bristle brushes.If you want to send snacks, our troops can get pop tarts and potato chips, but CPT Reed said that they can only get plain, or close to plain, chips. So if y'all want to send them some specialty snacks, that would probably go over really well!" They have also requested CD's and Mix Cd's and other toiletries items.
