The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women; to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members (www.woundedwarrior.org). We are rewarded for our fund raising efforts with the knowledge that we have assisted those that wear our country’s military uniforms and fight for our freedom and also, to allow us to have the honor of participating in the Wounded Warrior Tank Pull (more information below). On August 6th we will be having a fundraiser to kick off our fundraising efforts for this worthy cause. The night will begin at our hall at 7pm with music by our own Kevin Guerin and The Round the House Band with tickets modestly prices at $10.
