 Dear Brother’s:I write this letter on our return flight from the 35th Annual Bloody Sunday March! So many things fill my head as we fly home. I think of the fact that we walked right in confrontation between the NISF (police) and some bottle and rock throwing youth with British Army helicopters flying overhead. Here the police force is 90% union however; there is a rainbow on the horizon. Sinn Fein is working toward a larger republican (catholic) NISF. Please continue to pray for Sinn Fein success for a United Ireland. Our annual dance is February 10th 2007 at Lakeside Manor Hazlet. This year’s honorees are Brendan Dunleavy; Hibernian of the Year, and Owen Dwyer; Irishman of the Year. Tickets are $65 for a full dinner, open bar and music by Round the House. For ticket information please call Rob Hughes. On February 17th the Monmouth County Board will hold a membership drive at the Shamrock Pub in South Belmar. Please bring a friend. Cash Bar, buffet and Irish music from 2-6PN. For more details please contact Bill Young. At our February 21s (Ash Wednesday) meeting we will give out containers for Fr. Bob’s food pantry in Asbury Park. We are asking all that attend to prepare meal to be frozen. Meals are delivered to housebound individuals living with HIV and AIDS. More information will be given out at the meeting. The 2007 Belmar St .Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on March 4th. The bus will leave Hwy 36 and Appleton Ave at 9am returning about 7pm. As in the past we are invited to Bill and Judy Young’s home for a brunch and pre-parade entertainment. If you would like to bring something that would be thoughtful.
