The pipe band continues to play events and grow.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Congratulations to our piping instructor Derek Midgley in winning Double Gold at the\u00a0Piobaireachd Society competition<\/a>.\u00a0 The band covers the cost to provide FREE lessons from champion pipers like Derek.\u00a0 In addition to world class pipe instruction the drum corp also has professional instruction.\u00a0 Our drum instructor brings Paul Wilson brings over 30 years experience to the table.\u00a0 There has never been a better time to try out pipes or drums.\u00a0 Just show up at a practice – Tuesdays at 7PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the summer the band has played St Marys Fair, the McKittrick BBQ, and we have escaped the hall to hold some practices at Sandy Hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Looking forward to September and contingent will be playing Ryan “Seamus” Quilty’s Wedding, on 9\/11 we will play at Keansburg’s memorial (beachway & main) at 7PM, and Keansubrg’s Irish Festival on 9\/15 at 5PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The pipe band continues to play events and grow.\u00a0\u00a0 Congratulations to our piping instructor Derek Midgley in winning Double Gold at the\u00a0Piobaireachd Society competition.\u00a0 The band covers the cost to provide FREE lessons from champion pipers like Derek.\u00a0 In addition…
