Brothers,
The summer is flying past us or at least it seems like it. To me it is already
September. This month brings a couple of events here at the club. The first being
our halfway to St Patrick’s day on the 16th. Let us try pack the hall; it should be a
great night.
The following week on the 23 rd , we have the Smiles for Katie fund raiser from 6 to
11pm at the hall. This event is run by our brother Steve McCarthy and his wife
Debbie. All proceeds go to find a cure for pulmonary hypertension. I was lucky
enough to have known Katie, a one of kind beautiful person that just loved life and
all the good in it. Please try to attend.
Lastly our boy Conor McGregor put up a gallant effort but alas came up short in
the 10th round. $100 million for losing a fight is not a bad day at the office I'd say.
I hope to see you all at the monthly meeting on the 14 th . We also will be
forwarding any information concerning helping the Hurricane Harvey victims as
soon as it becomes available.
